This easy breakfast is chocolately and uses seasonal tasty cherries. But feel free to switch up the fruit based on the seasons. Other options could be figs, mandarins, raspberries, etc…

Here’s What You Need

  • rolled oats
  • chia seeds
  • almond butter
  • milk of choice
  • cherries
  • vanilla extract
  • cacao powder
  • chocolate protein powder, I like Truvani
  • cinnamon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
  • 2 ¼ cups canned coconut milk or almond milk
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder I like Truvani
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp almond butter or nut butter of choice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup pitted cherries chopped plus more for topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Toppings: more cherries and cacao nibs or dark chocolate

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and whisk well to combine.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 medium or 6 small containers and refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from the fidge and top it with more cherries and cacao nibs (optional)
  • Can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
  • Enjoy!
