I have a confession to make, when I was younger, I used to love a good Big Mac Burger. That sauce was everything. But I wanted to create a healthy version that was also low in carbs. Enter the Big Mac Salad. It’s easy to make and comes together in 20 minutes.

Here’s What You Need

  • Grassfed ground beef
  • ketchup mustard
  • white onion
  • pickles
  • relish
  • Worcestershire sauce, gluten-free
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • vegan mayo, I like Primal Kitchen
  • apple cider vinegar
  • romaine tomatoes
  • sesame seeds

Ingredients
  

  • BEEF
  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • SPECIAL SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup vegan mayo I like Primal Kitchen
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp white onion minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • SALAD
  • 2 heads of romaine shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 dill pickes chopped
  • 1/2 cup minced white onion

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, add all the beef ingredients, ground up, and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, add all the Special Sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Mix and set aside.
  • Assemble your bowl starting with the lettuce, ground beef, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and special sauce. Top wth sesame seeds and enjoy!
