About Pleni Naturals

You may have heard that our skin is our largest organ. Instead of piling on toxin-filled products (especially after a shower when your pores are nice and open), use products that are natural and free of chemicals that benefit, not only your skin, but also your health. Pleni Naturals does just that.

They are one of my absolute favorite woman-owned brands that created products using fruits and vegetables. Talk about thinking outside the box, right?! Allyson, the founder, was a former aesthetician, a product developer, and mother of two kids who wanted to create natural and organic skincare products for her kids. Her line began with kids bath and body products. Soon after, she created an amazing oil cleanser for women. Now, I will say this, even though her bath and body care was originally designed for kids, I couldn’t help but fall in love with it as well. It’s what I still use now.

Made-Safe Certified

Not only did Allyson create a brand that is 100% non-toxic, but her products are also Made-Safe Certified. What does that mean? MADE SAFE seal is the most comprehensive safety standard available, which certifies they are made without 5,000+ toxic chemicals known to harm human and environmental health. It’s reviewed by MADE SAFE scientists to ensure it doesn’t harm people or the planet by a review process that includes a complete investigation of every ingredient, including preservatives and the supply chain, leaving nothing uninspected.

Needless to say, Pleni Naturals is made WITHOUT toxic chemicals known to harm health such as heavy metals, VOC’s, carcinogens, developmental and behavioral toxins, and much more.

8 Clean Beauty Products You Need In Your Shower

pleni naturals cleanser, body wash, dermapore, and holistic beauties

#1 Pleni Naturals Body Wash: As I mentioned above, this product was designed for babies and kids, but I just couldn’t help but love this for my body as well. I have been using this body wash for almost two years and there is nothing else out there. It smells like oranges and leaves my body so clean and so soft. And for those curious…yes- my boys use it too. It contains ingredients like broccoli and olive oil, which makes this body wash extremely hydrating and soothing. Use code: PRECIOUS15

#2 Pleni Naturals Enzyme Cleansing Oil: I always keep this cleansing oil in my shower to remove either my makeup or to just wash the dirt and grime off my face from the day. What I love about this cleanser is that it can triple as a cleaner, gentle exfoliant, and a mask. This is perfect for days you’re limited on time. Use Code: PRECIOUS15

You’ll find papaya, which helps to gently exfoliate the skin, cucumber to help replenish moisture, and broccoli seed oil to keep skin hydrated and nourished. Here’s what you won’t find…Essential Oils, which is even better for those with sensitive skin. It’s also lightly scented with vanilla extract – it is so subtle and beautiful.

#3 Wabi-Sabi Botanicals Organic Facial Cleansing Cloths: These organic cloths are super luxurious. It’s really the best organic cloth for removing your makeup. I’ve tried many cloths and these take the cake. Use code: Precioustimeblog

#4 Lisse Shave Safety Razor: Don’t be afraid of the safety razor. I’ll admit, I was petrified with trying them out and then quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. This is an amazing and beautiful sustainable razor that gets you a really close shave without the bumpy and itchy irritations after. It prevents ingrown hair, has no toxic ingredients, and is much more cost-efficient. Use code: Precious15

#5 Dermapore: After I cleanse my skin, I always like to do some sort of exfoliant to help with my pores or blackheads. This dermapore is pretty awesome. I use it 2x a week to help get rid of pores and blackheads. Your face needs to be wet when using this so it’s perfect to do in the shower. Just don’t get the tool soaking wet.

#6 Exfoliating Body Scrubs: Just like you need to exfoliate the face a few times a week, you want to do the same with your body. It helps to get rid of product buildup, dirt, grime and helps to even skin tone. Of course, the products I use and recommend are non-toxic and work amazing. I use both the Follain Body Scrub and the Indie Lee Body Scrub. Don’t neglect your armpits either. It’s so important to clean that area out especially since we all wear deodorant. #7 Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Mask: Non-toxic shampoo and conditioner are hard to find. This was an area I had the most trouble finding to work for my hair. I needed a small lather, but something that made my hair super clean and hydrated. After 8 months of a lot of trial and error in this area, I finally found my favorites and here they are:

Odacite Shampoo Bar: You guys…I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical with using a shampoo bar. I didn’t know if it would dry out my hair, deep cleanse my scalp, and give me that lather. But boy…this became my most used. Plus, it’s zero-waste as it literally comes in the form of a soap bar. Sustainable and efficient.

Innersense Shampoo and Conditioner: This is the other love of my hair life. Both their shampoo and conditioner are amazing. You get a slight lather with the shampoo and your hair is left feeling clean and soft. Plus, it’s helped with my frizzy hair.

Hair Mask by Innersense: This is one of my favorites in clean beauty. A little goes a long way and you only need to mask your hair 1-2x a week. Since I only wash my hair 2X a week, I like to do the mask on both those days to get my hair nice and silky and shiny. Use code: chic

# 8 Rapid Dry Hair Turban: I used to use another bath towel to wrap around my hair and it would always hurt my neck. But, I discovered these hair towels 6 years ago and absolutely love them. It helps to soak up the water all while not injuring your neck.

A few other shower necessities:

  • Robe: Every time I wear my robe on Instagram, I get so many questions. What’s a shower without getting out and wearing a robe to get ready for the day?
  • Organic Towel: When you shower, your pores open up from the steam. Using an organic cotton bath towel containing zero chemicals is ideal. I love and recommend Sol Organix. I have these towels and absolutely love them.
  • Eucalyptus: I love greenery in my shower and fresh eucalyptus is so calming and smells amazing. If you have a stuffy nose, this is great to help open those nostrils along with the steam from the shower. You can buy these usually anywhere that sells flowers. Trader Joes has them for a good price.

So, there you have it… 8 Clean Beauty Products You Need In Your Shower. I hope you enjoyed this mini-tour of my shower using all clean products. They really help my skin, face, and hair stay nourished and hydrated.

XO,

Natalie
