This Hot Cocoa recipe is sure to be a HUGE hit with your kiddos, heck, even yourselves. Made with pure clean and real ingredients your kids won’t even know the difference that it’s homemade. Ditch the pre-packaged hot chocolate packets. They’re loaded with so much sugar and ingredients that can be harmful to your health. Plus, they’re not great for your gut health, hormones, or blood sugar.

Plus, did I mention that this recipe comes together in less than 10 minutes?

What makes this gut and hormone healthy? Collagen for starters is great to help soothe the gut lining and contains protein. Look for a grass-fed brand. Coconut oil adds some healthy fats to balance blood sugar. I then added Organifi Chocolate Powder (use code PTB20) because it has zero sugar but is loaded with ginger and turmeric (great for digestion) and adaptogens such as turkey tail and reishi to help promote sleep and relaxation.
