Can’t believe we are at the tail end of August!  Where did the time go? I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite products whether it’s food, skincare, makeup, etc… each month.

These items would be my must-haves and things I am absolutely loving especially during the transition of living a cleaner, greener, non-toxic life. But not everything I share will just be about that. I’ll also include favorite products for kids, outfits, kitchen gadgets, and more. I hope these become something you enjoy as well.

Maya Chia: The Highlight of the Day Illuminating Serum. I shared this on my stories a few weeks back and holy moly it’s amazing. I love this highlighter so much that I want it in each color. I own a few “toxic” ones like Bobbi Brown and Mac in a powder form and those don’t event compare to this little gem. So happy I found an amazing non-toxic highlighting product.  The one I purchased is Afternoon Delight.  Tip: Apply it on the top of your cheekbone, bridge of your nose, above your lip, and under the brows for a pop.

Odacite: Adventurine Kiss Lip Serum. ok ladies and even gents…How many of you actually take care of your lips? Besides putting on chap stick. I am guilty of this as well until I discovered this through the website The Detox Market. Lips were not something I paid much attention too besides applying chap stick every couple hours (I’m obsessed and addicted). But when I was on their website, this products popped up on the front page with raved reviews. I read about it for a few days and finally decided to include this in my order. This lip serum I swear by and will repurchase again and again. So hydrating, helps with dryness, and plumps the lips naturally. It’s packed with vitamin c and prevents wrinkles. Sign me up! I use this a few times a day (just because I love it that much) morning, afternoon, and right at bedtime. I even started exfoliating my lips once week during mask night and what a difference. If you want soft and kissable healthy lips, look no further. This one is life changing!

Ursa Major Deodorant: I actually started using this back in May and am loving it. I was on a search for a clean non-toxic deodorant that did what it’s supposed to do and THIS is it. I have been using the Honest deodorant spray for the longest time but unfortunately can no longer find it online so I was freaking out hoping I can find something that worked just as great as that one. No luck until this beauty came along. I even tried one of the most raved about deodorant Native, and it worked for a few months then I started breaking out. I did so much research and found that any deodorant containing baking soda is a skin irritant. You may not have a reaction right away but eventually you will. That’s what happened to me. My pits became itchy, red, and bumpy. I ditched Native and found Ursa Major. It’s clean, free of baking soda, and I don’t sweat and stink after the gym, it’s a GEM.

FYI…If you’re switching to a clean deodorant for the first time, please make note, your pits will take some time to adjust from whatever “toxic” product you were using before. Pits need time to detoxify and that can take a few months before you notice your new clean deodorant working. Just keep at it for a few months for your pits to adjust. Best advice, start in the winter when you sweat less, and detoxify your pits using the nest product I’m about to talk about.

Aztec Indian Healing ClayThis is actually a great face mask for deep pore face cleansing but I actually use it for my arm pits. Just like everything else, you can’t neglect the pits. This product removes any bacteria and any other toxins your body is exposed to on a daily basis. I try and use this at least once a week but more than likely it’s about every two weeks. It’s amazing stuff and leaves my pits feeling cleansed and smooth.

Branch Basics: if you’ve been following me for a while now, you know I love Young Living Essential Oils Thieves Cleaner. We use it literally on EVERYTHING. But I’ve heard from clean beauty bloggers how versatile Branch Basics concentrate is and that it can be used on laundry, hard wood floors, as well as hand and dish soap. Not to mention, their oxy boost can be used for laundry as well as stains on carpets and clothing. I haven’t found a clean laundry detergent or hardwood floor cleaner yet, so I purchased their starter kit and I am AMAZED!! A little goes a LONG way and we cleaned my entire house with it a few weeks ago and still have so much of the product left. I still use my Thieves cleaner as an everyday kitchen counter cleaner after meals but have been using Branch Basics for more gritty cleaning.

For The Kiddos:
Brio’s Train Table: Ok, parents reading this… If you have the space get one of these for your little ones. My kids have never been more entertained. We got this as a gift this past month and I LOVE it. The holidays are coming up so maybe something you get for the kiddos. When friends come over, their little ones are entertained by building train tracks on it and let’s just say, the mamas get to have an actual conversation and perhaps a glass of wine.
