Mexican Fruit Punch- Ponche Navideno
Looking for a fun and festive non-alcoholic drink to make during the holidays? This warm and inviting Mexican Fruit Punch is a traditional Christmas drink also known as Ponche Navideno.It's incredibly easy to make and absolutely delicious.

- filtered water
- 3/4 cup Jamaica dried hibiscus
- 3 tamarindo hard outer layer peeled
- 4 oz pilonchilo: raw sugar cane. It's shaped as a cone and comes in 8oz. Cut it in half.
- 4 frozen sugar cane sticks or cana
- 5 guavas left whole
- 1 orange sliced
- 2 red apples sliced
- 6 tejocotes: a small yellow fruit that resembles crabapples, left whole
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Fill the pot up with filtered water about 3/4 of the way full.
Next, add in the remaining ingredients and simmer on low for about an hour.
Serve hot and enjoy. No need to strain fruit or hibiscus.
