The matcha saga continues in my household…I don’t think I have ever been so obsessed with something that I literally had to have it in all way, shapes, or forms. But Matcha has stolen my heart and I just want to consume it in any type of food or beverage. Enter my Vegan Matcha Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Now, I love a good chocolate chip cookie, and I love my matcha…so why not combine the two for some extra boost of nutrients? They are not only vegan, but they are gluten-free and made with the cleanest ingredients.
Did you know that matcha is a powerhouse ingredient? Let’s take a short look as to why?
- It increases your mood
- contains antioxidants like vitamins E and C
- anti-aging (protects the skin from free radicals)
- supports the immune system
- prevents cardiovascular and liver disease
- prevents diabetes, arthritis, and Alzheimer’s
- prevents cold and flu
Now that we covered that, you can definitely see why I am all about matcha. It tastes good and has some really amazing health benefits. It’s truly a win-win.
