This Vegan Almond Banana Bread has been a recipe I’ve had in my back pocket for a few years now. It’s a family and friends favorite. Seriously, during quarantine, I made a batch for my friend and her hubby and they devoured it. So tasty, and made with clean ingredients.
It’s a vegan and gluten-free dessert that’s extremely moist and tasty. I added some ground flaxseeds for some extra fiber and nutrients and only added a dash of maple syrup of sweetness.
Substitutes/Replacements
If you are not vegan, feel free to use 3 eggs in place of the egg replacement. Want something crunchy? I like to sometimes add walnuts and pecans give this a tasty crunch. Another great add-in is to sneak in some veggies. There, I said it….Yes, add in veggies. I’ll sometimes finely grate in zucchini or carrots. You won’t even know the difference and you get that extra serving of veggies. You won’t even feel guilty eating it for breakfast 🙂
One more exciting substitute, turn this Vegan Almond Banana Bread loaf into muffins. Makes for a great grab-and-go breakfast. You can also freeze half the muffin batch for a quick and easy breakfast on a different day. I like to do that and save them for a rainy day and don’t have anything to make.
I buy my Egg Replacement and Enjoy Life Vegan Chocolate Chips from Thrive Market. They have name brand products at a discounted rate. I highly recommend you try them out. You can save 25% off your entire first order.
So, let’s get to the exciting Vegan Almond Banana Bread recipe. You’re going to absolutely love this one. Be sure to tag me any of your creations, I love seeing them.
