Looking to use up some delicious fruits this season? Try this easy and refreshing Summer Watermelon Strawberry Salad.
I don’t know about you but I am obsessed with fruit salads. If I’m being totally honest with you, some store-bought fruit salads are so basic and use not so great of fruits. Sometimes they’re all mushy, look like it’s been in a container for a long time, and only contain a few strawberries (everyone’s favorite right)? This fruit salad right here….it’s a game-changing baby.
Fruit Nutrients
This salad has two delicious Summer fruits both of which are hydrating and packed with vitamin C. Strawberries are packed with antioxidants, helps promote hair growth, are high in omega-3’s, lowers blood pressure, and are high in fiber potassium. Watermelon is amazing for hydration. It’s a great source of vitamin C, vitamin A and it helps you poop. Trust me, that’s important too lol.
I paired the two delicious fruits with fresh herbs. I think between the herbs and the lime juice, it just brightens the whole thing up. If you wanted to add some veggies to this to make it a meal, you can simply add a little chopped curly kale.
