The anticipation is over ladies! I’ve had so many requests for me to do a Men’s Guide to Clean Skincare post and here it is. Encourage your men to make the switch to cleaner products and to practice a clean skincare regimen. A little pampering in their lives using clean products might be the key to helping them unwind from a busy workday without compromising their health.
Like women, men need love too. We shouldn’t be the only ones getting pampered and practicing self-care, right? But more importantly, we want the men in our lives to take care of themselves and use safe clean products on their skin. Believe it or not, there are so many products on the market women use that’s perfect for men as well. Just ask my hubby. He uses a lot of the same products I own and loves them.
In this post, you’ll find everything from skincare to shaving cream. And men…it’s ok to have a skincare regimen. You want clean, healthy, glowing skin? You want to target fine lines and signs of aging? Practice self-care. A simple way to have “me time” at the end of a stressful day.
So here you have it, a men’s guide to clean skincare edition! Let’s get started.
Men’s Guide to Clean Skincare
Clean Face Wash
- Ursa Major Face Wash: I bought a travel size of this face wash for my hubby last Christmas as a stocking stuffer and he loved it. Used it up quick and even purchased a new one after.

- Odacite Black Mint Cleanser: Love this cleanser for men and women because you can feel the tingling of the mint cleansing the skin. You feel so refreshed after using this.
Clean Shaving Cream
- Ursa Major Shaving Cream: My hubby thought this one was just ok. It didn’t lather like he wanted it to.
- Lisse Shaving Oil: This oil is amazing and makes for a close shave when paired with a safety razor. This oil protects the skin from getting cut up.
- Lisse Shaving Bar: Another bar I love for shaving. Leaves your skin feeling hydrated and amazing.
- Crunchi Charcoal Bar: This is a great bar that can be used for shaving and has as a nice lather.
- The Art of Shaving Unscented Pre Shave Oil: This one is rated a 1 on the Think Dirty app, which means it’s very clean. Buy the unscented version though.
Razor
- Safety Razor: These are literally the best razors for men and women. Women can purchase the cute rose gold colored razors from Lisse. My husband has THIS one he has owned for over 6 years and loves it. He also has this stand…which reminds me, I need to buy a stand for my razor as well LOL.
Clean Mask
I gotta be honest, hate putting my hubby on blast, but he loves to do a face mask about once a week. But he only does it when he sees me doing it and I have leftover mask product LOL. I have a lot of masks and he’s tried them all. No complaints. Since I know there are a ton of men who aren’t big into masking, I’ll list a few of our favorites.
- Ursa Major 3 Minute Flash Mask. This one is perfect for men. My hubby tried some of the samples I had and liked it.
- May Lindstrom: My hubby loves this detox mask. It has a slight tingly burn feeling, but in a really good way, not at all painful. Best mask ever in my opinion. This huge bottle will last a long time since you only need it once a week.
Exfoliator
- Naturopathica Oat Cleansing Facial Polish: This stuff is amazing. My hubby and I both use it and it just gently scrubs away the dirt and grime from the face leaving it soft and refreshing. You need to exfoliate the skin at least once a week. USE CODE ref_precioustimeblog for 15% off
Eye Cream/Serum
- Naturopathica Vitamin K Eye Serum: EVERYONE needs an eye serum in their lives. This one is great for anti-aging, sensitive skin, and dark circles.
- Fitglow: It may come in a pink bottle, but this one is AMAZING for men and women.
Face Serum/Lotion
- Osea Atmospheric Protection Cream: Great for sensitive skin, and all skin types. My husband personally uses this one and loves it.
- Ursa Major Fortifying Face Balm: A serum that helps fight signs of aging and for skin that needs some extra hydration. Apply before the Osea cream for the perfect duo.
- Ursa Major Brighten Up Vitamin C Serum: This bad boy helps boost collagen levels to firm and brighten skin while evening skin tone. Pair this with the Ursa Major Balm for extra hydration.
- Crunchi SPF Lotion: Men need facial SPF like women do. This is a great one. Lightly scented and gets the job done. This would be the last thing applied to the skin.
- Indie Lee daily Vitamin Infusion: My favorite product. It contains Squalane which helps to lock in moisture and provide plumping in the skins fine lines. Call it a natural botox for the face. Unscented so it’s perfect for men and women.
- Speaking of natural botox…Osea Hyaluronic Sea Serum does just that. But I recommend using something on top of this serum to provide extra moisture.
Cologne

Deodorant
- Ursa Major Deodorant: My husbands’ favorite deodorant. He’s been using it for almost a year now and loves it. It has a light scent (nothing girly at all) and helps with sweat. If there is anything people need to switch out ASAP it’s deodorant. Read my Let’s Talk Pits post here, post here.
Hair Care
- Innersense Shampoo: Our personal favorite.
- Ursa Major Shampoo: My hubby likes this shampoo as well. Men are simple creatures.
- Rahua Hair Wax: Plan on buying this for my kid’s hair after we finish up our “toxic” hair gel.
- Innersense Hairspray: I use this and love it. On occasion, I will spritz it in my boy’s hair for a lightweight hold.
Body Wash
- Aleavia: We LOVE this body wash so much. Basically, a skin food body wash containing prebiotics. SO amazing and the whole family enjoys this one.
