These delicious Honey Ginger Chicken Tenderloins are the tastiest weeknight meal. It’s gluten-free, ready in 30 minutes, and baked so you’ll have little clean-up afterward. This will quickly become a family favorite.

If there’s one thing I love, it’s making and eating some sort of Asian inspired meal. The flavors of coconut aminos (soy sauce) and honey mixed with lime juice are incredibly delicious. Trust me when I tell you, your family is going to love this just as much as mine did.
When creating this recipe, I was in a lazy mood – meaning I didn’t want to wash a ton of dishes. I was in the kitchen all day recipe testing and was exhausted. So I knew I wanted this to be quick and require very little clean-up. This did just that.
I recommend marinating the chicken overnight for better flavor. But if you don’t have the time, simply give it at least 30 minutes. In this recipe, I only had time for 2 hours and it was tasty. But either way, whatever time you have, go ahead and do it because it’ll be good no matter what.

Ingredients and Substitutions
- Coconut Aminos. I love using coconut aminos to keep my meals as paleo as possible and although this isn’t a paleo meal, I still love to use it. But, if you’re not gluten-free or have any dietary needs, use regular soy sauce or tamari.
- Ginger, Garlic: Gives this marinade and chicken some Asian flavor. So good and a must to include.
- Honey: The honey will sweeten this chicken up a bit. I like to use raw unfiltered honey for this dish.
- Lime and Orange: To give this dish some zing and citrus, I love to add fresh lime juice and a small amount of fresh orange that’s juiced. If you only have lime use that or if you have a tangerine or cutie, that would work as well. But limes are necessary.
- Chicken Tenderloins: Sub for chicken wings or cube these babies up and place on a skewer to grill in the summertime.
- Cilantro: I love fresh herbs in almost all my meals. Cilantro pairs perfectly in this dish. If you have basil, this would be great too.

So simple to make. The only thing you have to remember is to marinate your chicken, even if it’s for 30 minutes. You won’t be disappointed.
