Beef kebabs are a traditional Armenian, Lebanese, Persian dish that is made with ground beef, lots of herbs, and spices. Some people make them on kebab sticks, others form them into small oval patties and bake them, and I created mine to be burgers. Serve them on butter lettuce, pita wrap, or burger buns, and enjoy!
Here’s what you need
- Grass-fed and finished organic ground beef
- Onions
- Garlic
- Parsley
- Mint
- Lemon zest
- Ground sumac
- Ground cumin
- Ground cinnamon
- Salt
- Pepper
- Feta cheese (optional)
- Butter lettuce
- Pickles red onion
- Garlic spread

I like to serve these burgers with a delicious cucumber tomato salad, and a side of hummus, maybe some tzatziki sauce, and anything else that sounds tasty.

Easy Beef Kebab Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 lb grass-fed and finished organic ground beef
- 1 red onion grated
- 4 garlic cloves grated
- 1/2 cup parsley minced
- 1/4 cup mint minced
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 tsp ground sumac
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- Feta cheese optional but for the topping
- Butter lettuce
- Pickled red onions optional
- Radishes sliced (optional)
- GARLIC SPREAD
- ½ cup vegan mayo
- 5 large garlic cloves rough chopped
- ½ lemon, juiced
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mini food processor, add in all the garlic sauce ingredients and blend. Pour in a bowl and set aside in the fridge.
- In a large bowl, add the ground beef, grated onion, garlic, parsley, mint, lemon zest, sumac, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands.
- Form even patties and add salt and pepper on both sides of the patties.
- In a cast-iron skillet or grill, add the avocado oil, grill the burgers for about 3-4 minutes per side.
- On your butter lettuce, add the burger, the garlic spread, pickled red onions, more mint, parsley, crumbled feta, and enjoy!
